My birthday was on the 19th! Thanks for all the wishes ❤

Hi, folks! Please enjoy today’s song. It’s on the long side, so you can stop here to listen. I worked very hard on it, and my little brother offered a lot of moral support. I actually tried to do this one before, but FL Studio crashed… it happened again this time, but I stayed determined. Jarona!

Hihi, I curious so I gotta ask do you have a favourite au? Honestly speaking mine changes every other month lol (right now I’m obsessed with Dr. Megalo, I neeeed more alphys centric work!! As for fanfics I’ve been binge reading your salphys t4t amicable exes fic hehe + Feeling bonely- it is a soriel fic but it also happens to be one of my favourite platonic salphys ever!) Sorry about the rambling ^v^’ (what?!?!?! dont be sorry!?!?!)

Would it surprise you to hear that I don’t really like AUs? (LOUD SCREAMING AND PITCHFORKS AND FIREBALLS BEING THROWN AT ME FROM THE AUDIENCE) Not in the traditional sense, anyway. Underfell and all that stuff always felt weird to me because it wasn’t my classic Undertale characters, so I stayed away from it and lived the hater lifestyle for a while. I am a different person now, however, and I realize this is stupid and wrong. The creativity of these people should be celebrated, and a lot of them are pretty masterful storytellers! And a few of them hit the nail on the head, lore-wise. While I can confidently say most of them aren’t for me, I love seeing the different possibilities on what we could do with UTDR characters.

It’s not just because you brought up Dr. Megalo, but that may be one of my favorites as well. I catch myself binge-watching L Void’s comic dub of that quite a bit, and it’s hooked me, honestly. And I’m not biased just because it features my favorite pairing, not at all, and I’m BAFFLED that you would even INSINUATE that (jokes) but I appreciate AUs that don’t change the characters too much. Frankly, Dr. Megalo has some of the best characterization I’ve ever seen! And now I’m gonna go rewatch it after I post this, thank you for that

For other AUs, there’s the obvious Handplates… I’d be surprised if you hadn’t read that. I followed along with Zarla’s updates for years, and my favorite dub comes from a certain channel that’s changed its name a few times… I think it’s Calysto? I consider Handplates to be an AU because of the newly discovered canonicity of Sans being from DELTARUNE. But I love it all the same! And, I’ve been playing a lot of fangames recently. I’ve always been a fan of Disbelief Papyrus and Alphys Takes Action (those fangames actually inspire a little portion of my work in a VN I’m creating) but one I discovered fairly recently is a fangame called DELTARUNE: The Upper Hand. I don’t want to spoil too much, but it’s a Dark World concept set in Sans and Papyrus’ home, and the fangame is all about meeting and fighting the Shadow Crystal boss. The gameplay is perfect, and the music is absolutely beautiful. I definitely think it’s my new favorite. It’s free on GameJolt, I really recommend giving it a play! Be forewarned, though, the battle’s fairly difficult.

If you wanna read a couple epic AUs in story form, though, I recommend going to find Songs For The Fallen and The Last Red Year on AO3. I was involved with both stories in their writing stages and I’m credited as a beta reader… the author is also one of my very close friends. Check it out!

Your support on my fanfiction is really special to me, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I think it’s been going for about a year and a half now, or coming up on it, and the idea wasn’t even original, it came from a conversation I had with my aforementioned close friend. But Sans and Alphys are very dear to me, and they’ve helped me become better writers and gained confidence. I’ve also made a few awesome friends through it (like you!) and I’m excited to write the story’s ending in a couple days. Don’t be freaked, though, that doesn’t mean I’m done with them in any capacity. You’ll understand what I mean! But, really, thank you. You have no idea how happy it makes me to hear that my work has reached and satisfied at least one person. I love you and all my readers. And, I need to check out that Soriel fic. It sounds amazing.

Thanks for the question… I rambled too, so now we’re even! And, I lied to you a little bit. Switching gears. We’re actually having two songs today. I’ve been on a music kick. And I hope what I write continues to make you happy. It makes me so proud being here, playing piano and telling silly little stories to you guys. I head back to college soon, so I hope my posts get much more interesting soon. Though, even if I have nothing to say, I’ll always be here.
